My son is proud of me being an artist but isn't exactly arty himself... more of a footballer at the moment!
I think it's too early to tell for now. I have two-and-a-half and one-and-a-half year olds. At this age I think they're just naturally curious to try everything. They want to paint also when they see Mommy painting. So I gave them my discard brushes and some watercolors. But always the colors end up on the walls and floors and not on their papers.

We just have to wait and see... :)
Fiona Lovely of you to reply...You could say Football is an off shot ...as you have to be creative to move with the ball? Happy Easter

Maria I know what you mean...but I notice from the age of one and half that my youngest was and is arty....I would give him a canvas and five different colour's and you now he only used 3 and was quite sure what was going where...the other 2 also are very creative in art, but in very different styles....it's a joy to see them all painting in my studio all at there own stations.....
