Equal parts repellent and compelling, the technical aspects of the drawing are superb. can't place any antecedents, but it feels familiar, almost derivative. The detail is awesome. Wonderfully metaphoric. I'd like to read the artist's statement to fully appreciate the piece. What size is it?
