Aivar Taziev was born in 1955 in Kazakhstan. Was educated as a scene-painter. He started his professional activities in 1976 and contributed to theathers, publishers, and design studios in Almaty. In 1979 his first professional personal exhibition took place. The «Oko» Art Gallery was founded in 1991, with Aivar Taziev’s works underlying.
The artist defines his creative quests as an artistic trend called «Metaphysical Sinthetism» since he has chosen the Non-Displayed World as an object of his plastic study. Art historian, A. Djadaibaev said that Taziev «is able to create his own esthetic environment, possessing a specific imagery system where universal concepts are being perceived through the prism of subjectivity».
Since 1979, A. Taziev held more 40 solo art exhibitions under the logo of the «Oko» gallery in the CIS countries, France (Paris UN bilding, exhibition of «Free Fund of
Contemporary Russian Art»1989). Germany
