I`m a free painter, illustrator and concept artist with links to land-art and architecture.
Birthplace
Haarlem, province of North-Holland, Netherlands
Influences
Hercules Seeger (17th century). the great Dutch master like Frans Hals, Rembrandt, Rubens, Pieter de Hoogh, of course Breugel father and son, Jeroen Bosch.
Others: the greatest of all, Franciso y Luciente de Goya (les Caprises), Pieranesi, Rops, Ensor, The dutch master (19th & 20 thCencury)Maris, Israels, Sluyter, but the most by Breitner.
Modern artisst like Appel, Constant, Freimut, Aleshisky, Allis, Bacon.
How it all began...
I was born with a sketchbook and pencil, my mother used to say.
From the first moment of consciousness of the great, huge world, I wanted to become a painter.
My mother used to take me with her to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, there I was totally estonished by the great portraits of noblemen and merchants made by the master of the 17th century.
That`s were it started, I`m a artist, were my thoughts.
In the works...
I`m a concept painter and I`m a imagehunter.
In painting I got three serie who will contiue during my life.
1; The Dutch Landscape, every year I`m painting a number of canvasses about this subject.
2: the big red beast, political paintings, every year a view.
3: Unreal reality, about our strange life, lived in constant electronical lies, dreams and disinformation.
Men don`t talk about there life, but about what they have seing on the "Mourn-Tube".
Down the road...
I(`m 60 years now and probebly will live for a few years, let`s say 10 or 15 years, I`ve got a heartcondition and I`m a copdpatient, so count your blessings.
Easy living is the moto and I do so.
But my artworks are not suffering by this, I`m slowing down a bit, but still going strong with my creative works.
About me in general...
I`ve exposed my work in several galleries, city-exporooms.
Artworks soled all over the world.
In a moderat manner, me and my wife can live from the money coming in.
I`m teaching art to the mental disorderd people, my funny friend and I love to do so.
if you could collaborate with/meet any artist, past or present, who would it be?
I`would like to have a sculpuresession with Praxitheles, the makers of the Venus of Willendorf and lessons in native arts, like the abbo`s in Australia.

OK Joop, when you get set up let me know...logitech has really good webcams and headsets, or you can use your pc audio...and hey, look after yourself, you are the only one you got.
Cheers
