About me in general...

Susan Shaw has received two New York State Artist’s Fellowships in Photography and the Craft Kaleidoscope Award for a photographic textile book from the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Her internationally exhibited work is included in permanent and corporate collections including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Shaw is a 2007 and 2009 recipient of a residency fellowships at the Vermont Studio Center. She is based in New York City which she likens to a giant coral reef.
