Haunted by the billowing whisper of the trees
cruel indifference trails the heart full of appease
a dark force creeping closer, foretold by a lingering plea
masked with charm, you corrupt with a cold breeze
turmoil thickens, morning light cast you to the east
solemn is the night, dulcet calls are unleashed
I cry to the heavens, intrepidity becomes me
stonewalling the moonlight dance of dusted stage
willful contempt you breath with rage, I walk away
light floods my soul, freedom engages my space
feelings of empowerment reaches to fully embrace
